Behind the brand

Hi, I’m Raquel Scaffe, the founder of Ilan Creamery.


I grew up in the heart of a kitchen, with the rich aromas of Jamaican spices filling the air and the sounds of laughter and community always nearby. Raised by Jamaican parents and deeply rooted in the restaurant business alongside my mother for over 20 years, I’ve always known that food isn’t just about flavor it’s about family, heritage, and love.
That’s exactly what inspired me to start Ilan Creamery.


Now based in Atlanta, I wanted to create something that felt like home—something that celebrated my Caribbean roots while bringing people together in a fresh, joyful way. Our creamery isn’t just about ice cream or dessert it’s about connection. Every batch is made with care, using high-quality ingredients and inspired by flavors that tell a story.
